A New Mission President starts out with a BOO!

 Week of June 30 - July 6

New Mission President brings a new feeling around the office.

The AP's came as usual to their meeting with President.  He walked out of his office and shouted "BOO" at the AP''s!  We all jumped and then had a good laugh.  He is fun and light hearted and extremely spiritual.  He's a hugger, very grateful for all you do and concerned that you aren't running faster than you can go.

At Staff Meeting Sister Beecher suggested that we should start each day with a prayer.  That has already strengthened our relationships in the office.  We spend a few minutes talking and sharing what we  are doing for the day and then anyone that has had a miracle or tender mercy shares that and we have prayer.  I love the feeling it gives our office.

This week Dan replaced a washer that ended up not needing to be replaced.  It was the faucet into the wall that needed replacement. Said Good-bye to the Mott's, a Senior couple working in the Family Search Library and organized the Storage Unit, again.

Friday was the 4th of July!!  We invited the whole office staff over for dinner.  There was 12 of us, President and Sister Beecher even came.  We had such a fun time.  President had us either laughing or crying through the whole evening.  He shared with us about getting their call and some sweet experiences that their daughter had in helping her know the call came for the Lord.

Saturday we went to Springfield a 2 hour drive, but this time it was for fun!!  We went to the Lincoln Museum and his house and the neighborhood he raised his family in.  It was really fun to learn more about Lincoln and how he felt what he was doing was a divine calling.  Such a fun day
