Time to start saying "Good bye"

 Week July 28-August 3

Smoots will be here this coming Sunday and we are working hard to get the Smith's apartment ready for them to move into it.  We got rid of a lot of furniture, had the carpet, couch and chair cleaned.  I've gone through the whole kitchen and cleaned out cupboard and cabinets.  So much work.  

Thursday night we met Madelyn for dinner.  We ate at the Old Spaghettis Factory down town, St Louis.  It was so  cute with lots of personality.  Madelyn has become such a great friend, we will miss her a lot.  






Friday we spent the morning cleaning the Storage Unit so it would be ready for the Smoots.  It gets so messing and cluttered, we just had to get it straightened up some.  

Saturday we moved the Sisters in Lake St Louis into a new apartment.  Then we had to delivered a charger to the sisters in Wentzville and a bed to Dardenne Creek.  Lots of work and running a round today.

Sunday was our next to last Sunday, so after church we went and said our Good-byes to Robert Taylor, Andrew Perkins and Judy Waidmann.  Hugs and lots of tears, three people we are going to  miss a lot.  

Smoots arrived!

Our sweet Sisters

 The week of June 16 - June 22 Transfer week.  We picked up these sweet sisters at the Hotel to take them to the airport to go home.  We were taking 4 of the sisters early and then come back for 3 others later.  They were having breakfast when we got there we let them finish and then I said, "Okay, it's time to go."  They hugged each other over and over again.  Then they did one big group hug and when I walked over to them, they were praying together right there in the hotel breakfast room.  It was the sweetest thing.  A few tears and we were off to the airport. The Mission Call

We got notification of our mission call as I was getting on a plane to Utah to visit two of my High School girl friends.  I was so excited!! But ... I really wanted to be with Dan when we opened our letter, so we decided to wait till I got home in 3 days to open it.  It was all planned and the kids were ready to Zoom and watch us open it when my flight got delayed for three hours.  That put me home around 11:00pm.  So we went with play B and set it up for the next morning.  All the kids were on line as we opened our up mission call. A Hymn Testimony and an answer to Prayer

Week of May 19 - 25 Zone Conference Week. I was called on to share my Hymn testimony at Zone Conference.  A Hymn testimony is a your testimony using only lines from the Hymn's.  It was actually harder to do than I thought it would be.  But here's mine.
